Steve was a very gentle man. He loved working with all that knew him. My thoughts and prayers for the family are sent as I remember him. Rest in Peace my friend and God Speed.
I will see you again in the great clubhouse on high.
Met Steve as a Ham. Always had a pleasure talking with him when out in the community or at amateur radio events or at our pizza gatherings in Whitehall on Fridays for lunch!
Mike was an important part of my life, as he met with our Saturday morning coffee group at The Book Nook since 2012. He was a great comfort to me when I lost my wife, Christal, to cancer last July. He was always great to be with and he will be missed. My best wishes to family and be comforted that his life was a life well lived and a blessing to family and all those who knew him.
Sorry to learn of Steves passing. He was a good friend from funeral service and amateur
Radio. We will miss him.

the loss of my best friend of over a half of a century leaves me empty but also blessed for all the times we had together. the projects we worked on together, the Star Trek we watched and the life long friendship we shared.

His 64 year mission was to explore life, learn to love and raise a family. Now with his mission completed, it is up to you, Jacob and Megan, to continue living your lives with your Dad in your hearts. He loves you now, he always has and always will. Listen with your heart and he will speak to you.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mike’s (Steve’s) family. So sorry to hear of his loss.
His memories will live on in my husband’s (Eric Scanson) and my (Chris) heart.
