Dad, the first man I ever loved. Words can’t explain how proud and honored I am to call you my Dad, and also my friend. The past seven months I have called you asking for advice on several things in my life. Thank you, for being there and sharing your thoughts, I hold them dear in my heart. You are stronger than anyone I know, I wouldn’t change the past couple of weeks for anything. Being able to be by your side was amazing. I know you are pain free now, having a wonderful reunion with your parents, sister and Lindsey, and eating all of the food you can handle! Be sure to watch over us, and I promise to try to make you smile! I love you, forever and always.

I have so many memories tucked away but what I remember the most is that Gary could make me laugh even when the situation was bad. Jonnel, my dearest friend, I love you with all my heart and I wish I could take away your pain. Alisa, Ashley and Jean, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Alisa, Ashlie, Jonnel and families….. Know that we send our thoughts, prayers and hugs to you girls during this very difficult time in the loss of a very special man, your Dad. We were able to make a few memories with your Dad that Jim and I will always remember. One in particular I will share is when Uncle John and Aunt Dolly were moving to Iowa and Grandpa Wallace had a limo that your Dad was “the official” limo driver. Once to Iowa, we all piled into the limo to go out for dinner…your Dad drove the limo up the the door, got out of the driver seat, came around to the rear door and opened it to let us all out. He even wore “an official” limo driver hat….because he turned so many heads and of course, we all just smiled at the time but laughed til we had tears once back in the limo. He will be missed.

My heart is in sorrow for your loss Alisa yet it’s so full from the love that you could see between the two of you. I truly believe that despite the physical loss he is still watching over you. I pray that that you, the boys and your family are able to find peace during this sad time.
