My love and sympathy to you, Elaine’s Family–I was so saddened to hear of Elaine’s death. She was truly a faith filled, loving and generous woman. I served with her at First Lutheran (’82-’83) on Internship and as an Associate Pastor. I was honored and am grateful to be a recipient of her generosity my Senior year at Trinity Lutheran Seminary. I viewed the lovely photos and service. Thank you. God is and will continue to comfort and uphold you during this time. Love to you all, Miriam M. Knudson Bunge

I still have the quilt Elaine made for me in 1976. She included a section of patriotic material to mark the year! What a fine, gracious, faithful woman she was. My sympathy to you all. Thanks be to God that nothing, not even death, separates us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord. Alleluia. Rev. Kathy Jo Blaske
