Guestbook entries for Daniel G. Hildreth
So sorry about Danny. Family is in my prayers.
To my Brother, Danny. You are at peace and pain free and reuniting with our Wonderful Parents who were waiting for you with open arms. Thanks for all the memories growing up and putting up with us Four Sisters. You worked so hard your whole life and we were proud of you as our Brother. Like the Vince Gill song goes; Your work on Earth is Thru so Go Rest High On That Mountain, Danny!! You truly deserve it. Till we meet again in Heaven Someday. Love You, Danny. You will be missed!!
Danny fought a good fight and never gave up. So incredibly proud of him and how he lived his life. He was truly a giver to so many. Every time Danny saw or talked to my Mom on the phone he said, "Happy Mother's Day" because to him every day we had her in our life was a Happy Day! Even though it has only been a little over 3 months since she and my stepdad left us, we rejoice in the fact that they are all together in Heaven! I would like to extend a special Thank You to all the SHAPE employees. Your love and support meant so much to him. it did not go unnoticed. A very special Thank You to Harbor Hospice Poppen House entire staff. The care you have was exemplary, but the LOVE was the greatest of all. You truly showed him how much you cared about him. We will never forget you and we know you will never forget Danny, your buddy! 💚💛💚

You will be missed Dan... I'm glad you're not in pain anymore... Until we meet again.. hugs
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Dan was such a fun man. Every time I was around him, he always had a smile on his face.
Dan was very special to me. He helped me alot since my husband's death. Always had something positive to say to boost my spirits. He was there to help whenever I had something I couldn't fix. He was a true friend to those who knew him. God's comfort for his family during this time.
I'd known Dan for almost 20 yrs through Shape. He was a great guy to be around, always kind and helpful. I miss the times when I worked 3rd in the maintenance shop and the maintenance crew and tool guys would have some kind of a meal together whenever we worked a weekend. You can't replace that kind of fellowship. I'm so sorry for your loss, Dan will be missed greatly.
You will be sadly missed cousin Danny. You are at peace now and no more pain. RIP Danny

Dan was one of the people that first welcomed me when I started at Shape. We had much in common and I always enjoyed talking with him. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Rest in peace my dear friend. It was a honor and privlage that you still allowed me to call you Uncle Danny. Your laugh and infectious smile will never be forgotten. Thank you for blessing me with all of the beautiful memories. Love ya!
God speed brother
It was a pleasure knowing Uncle Danny, and he will be missed by many. It was always a pleasure to see the smile on his face everytime I saw him. And I am forever thankful for the countless trips up north and memories that were made with him and his family.
Dan was a good friend. I enjoyed his wisdom and sence of humor. He would always help you anyway he could from fixing a broken tool to selling 100's of dollars worth of candy for my daughter. He will be greatly missed but is in a better place. Til we meet again my friend, love ya.
My Dad was such a great guy. I have always looked to to him since I was a little girl. He loved his family and he loved the outdoors and hunting. He won the debate about bringing me home from the hospital in pink or camo when I was born. Camo it was! I loved the relationship he had with all His close work buddies. He taught me what being a hard worker was all about. From the time we were young and he would take Bryan out of school early on a Friday to go up north for the weekend with him and my mom, to the trips home from college just to spend a weekend fishing (and of course kicking his butt), to our many times hunting together and finally catching my big buck this year!! I would always laugh at him in the stand, he would have his coffee in hand, big phones on listening to his nascar races, and waiting for a deer to come out, and hear him say "baby, did you hear that? I think one is coming". He helped me follow my dream of moving to Nashville, which he used to visit with grams and gramps when he was younger. Gosh I am going to miss him so much. I know he is still with me, and with the rest of our family and friends. I love you, Dad!

Dan was my boss at Shape for a while. He was very smart, and kind and was always patient when teaching me how to do something that I had never done before. He was always happy and smiling. He was a great mentor, and I never forgot that! Sincere condolences to you all!

Our prayers and sympathy go out to Dan's entire family! We did not have the pleasure of meeting him or knowing the beautiful soul he was but we do know the wonderful daughter he brought into this world so many years ago. Through Jill we have seen a glimpse into the worlds' beauty Dan enjoyed in his younger and recent years as well as his bucket list trip up North. We hope any divide the family is dealing with will be set aside so all members of this family can relish their relationships they enjoyed in Dan's life and presence.

Our thoughts are with Danny's family during this time.
I was so sorry to hear about Dan's passing. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May God comfort your family during this difficult time. I have to comment about a childhood memory with Dan. He would always tease me and say "Telegram for a Pellegram" and I would get so mad and he would just laugh and smile at me.
