Obituary for Sally L. Clements

Born: June 2nd, 1934
Passed Away: February 20th, 2016

On Saturday, February 20, 2016, we said goodbye to Sally Lee Clements (81), of Muskegon after her long struggle with Parkinson's and Dementia. Mom is survived by her husband of 61 years Larry, four children; Kevin (Char), Kelly (Sac), Kerry (Robbie) and Kayle (Suzy), six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

As a kid, mom loved playing baseball and sports. She helped take care of her family by working at Howmet in Whitehall. She loved music (she was always humming along with whatever song was playing), shopping for cars, and eating sweets. Most of all mom loved being with family and friends. She welcomed everyone with a big smile and made them feel at home. Our home was overflowing with love and laughter and everyone enjoyed visiting the Clements house because of it. Mom was so proud of her family and did not hesitate to say so. She loved a good laugh, and even near the end would giggle and smile whenever we were around. Her eyes would light up when she laughed and you couldn’t help but laugh along.

Dad said he knew the first time they met they would spend their lives together. It is easy to see why. She was a beautiful, strong, funny, sometimes silly, loving, caring and warm, special woman.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Michigan.
